The Asbury Park Press is running an interesting on line poll.
The poll asks if respondents are considering moving out of New Jersey because of high taxes and an uncertain economic future.
At the time of this writing, 1553 people had responded. 74 percent replied yes.
The thing i like about the APP polls, we can vote like Democrats and vote numerous times on the same issue. ;D I encourage all to do so.
On a related topic of jersey taxes, I was reading a point of view the other day which really hammered home why so many of our state residents appear to be in favor of high taxes. We all know about the transplants from New York. The point that was made is that they do not mind the recent increases, because they are used to paying much more. Most of the transplant population is in north Jersey, and they have a high population concentration. To put it another way, not only are New York transplants bad drivers, they also forget why they ran away from New York.
I apologize for the partisan digs, it is all done in jest!
