This is a great idea, and one of those types of activities that helps build a better community. It's great to see some of the local businesses doing their part to help support the parade!! I am sure there are other businesses in town that are also making a contribution in some way as well, and they should be recognized also.
I do, however, have 2 complaints about this whole issue...
First, I won't be home in time to eat out at the restaurants May 1-3 (don't get home until the following week)
Next, I won't be around to see the parade...I leave again a few days before the parade.
Ah well...I hope others will be dining out and enjoying the parade in my place!!
And by the way, considering the extra 10% that will get donated if you visit 3 of the restaurants, might I suggest a dining schedule that looks something like this....
Sunday 1-May, lunch at Court Jester Sunday 1-May, dinner at Market Yard Grille
Monday 2-May, lunch at Federici's Monday 2-May, dinner at Metropolitan Cafe
Tuesday 3-May, lunch at the Jester again Tuesday 3-May, dinner at Solo Trattoria or Taste Steakhouse (hey, you gotta try the other spots in town also!!)

Well...it's Wednesday morning over here...so it's Tuesday night back in Freehold Boro...
I hope the restaurants mentioned above were really jumpin' these last few days!!
Anyone notice how the event panned out?? Any reviews from folks who actually went out and took part?? I am curious to hear what folks in town did to help support the parade.
And of course, those restaurants that made the event possible again deserve credit for playing a part in supporting a Freehold Boro tradition.
