The Racers Club has a record number of participants this year. I was informed last night that there are about 19 kids in the program this year. This long running community program depends on donations.
Last night I spoke with Lisa S. and we agreed that we will be keeping this club in the spotlight in order to continue to draw attention to it and get this club the help it needs. Lisa approached me with this idea and it is a no brainer. Highlighting local charities, causes and benefits is one of the pleasures of this site.
Keep your eyes open readers, we will be posting more on this in order to keep the Racers Club fueled up and in full speed.

In the previous post I mentioned that the Racers Club has a record amount of participants this year and that the club relies purely on donations from generous individuals. Here is the info for anyone wishing to help out this great community program: contact Al Michenfelder@ 30 Jackson st apt 806 phone is 732 822 3924 Racers Club on facebook: www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=108904515802000 Al has been doing this for about 20 years, and children benefit greatly. Good grades in school and good behavior are rewarded with parental permission and support. Kids learn how to follow directions and hand-eye coordination, as well as creativity.
