One of our fine readers, who is also a great and concerned resident, pointed out a couple of developments worth noting.
At the Inn on South Street, there is some major work going on that looks to be making some very nice improvements to the place. I am not sure if the Inn will still be with us or we are getting a new place to visit. My wife and I visited the Inn once and while it was very good, with a very interesting menu, we were skeptical that it would last at that location. We may have been wrong, but there is something going on to watch....
On another note, over on Main Street, our good reader also mentioned that there is a music store of some kind opening up across from Fred Astaire Dance studios. I checked it out today and that is indeed a fact. In the former Mass Mutual store, next to Bella Rosa, work has begun that shows something very musical moving in. There is a giant sign on the front advertising music lessons. I will be calling the number because I am looking to take lessons and would be more than happy to support a borough based business. I will report back on what we have moving in.
Rumor also has it that there will be a massive group rain dance in the near future. We need it. Maybe Fred Astaire can teach the dance and the new music shop can play some tunes to groove to.
