Ryan Cuneo, a 2006 graduate of Freehold Boro High School who recently concluded his senior season at the University of Delaware, was selected in the 20th round by the Chicago Cubs. He was the 610th pick overall.
Cuneo hit .350 with 16 home runs and 65 RBI this past season for the 27-24 Blue Hens. He belted 17 homers and had 56 RBI in 2009 and hit .351 with six homers and 48 RBI in 2008.
