After months of anticipation and plenty of good discussion in a council meeting, the bike racks are being installed around town. They are simple in design, but tasteful and practical.
I have noticed them popping up over the past couple of weeks. There are several by the bus station and along the rail road tracks. Those are already being used very heavily.
Also noticed were racks placed at Veterans Park, behind CVS, and on Main Street.
I did look for, but did not see, racks near borough hall. I was driving so if there are any, I simply may have missed them. I bring this up because know several people who visit borough hall would like to see a rack or two there.
I will keep this updated as more racks are found. This is a small thing, but very good. A more bike friendly borough is a good thing.
