The nonprofit CentraState Associated Auxiliaries and the Noontime Optimist Club have combined teams to bring “Taste of the Towns,” a food, wine and vodka tasting, and gift auction to Freehold from 6:30-9:30 p.m. April 19 at the American Hotel, 18-20 E. Main St. The event will benefit CentraState Medical Center’s cancer programs in addition to youth activities, scholarships and Camp Quality, a camp for children with cancer. Musical entertainment for the event will be provided by local bands. The hosting organizations are offering restaurants in the community an opportunity to showcase their businesses by presenting one or more of their signature dishes. Additionally, sponsorships are being offered as an opportunity for businesses and individuals to advertise and show support for these causes. Tickets to this event are available to the public for $75 and $100 at the door.
