Anyone have some info or references regarding the railroads that went through the Boro?
(Well, I guess one is still limping through once and a while)

Seems the be there are two (or three) stations still standing in the town, and three different lines meet up here, yet, I can't find any history about them.

This would make for a good post. The book by Barbara Pepe had quite a bit of information on the impact the railroads had on Freehold. It has been quite a while since I read that book so I will not try to recap it due to a fuzzy memory on that subject. Maybe with a little luck one of our local history buffs will chime in with some interesting posts. I also looked on line at other sites to see if I could find anything to cut and paste, but found nothing.
