Those of you who missed First Night Out, last night, really missed a terrific local event.
There was no glitz...no terrific entertainment...no festival of food. The night was all about community. The kids had a great time playing on the inflatables rides, while their parents had a chance to chat with friends and neighbors.
The police department put on a great "low tech" event designed to pull the community together and to introduce themselves to the residents they are dutibound to protect.
Neighborhood Pride also had a booth at FNO, as it had last week at Kruize Night. The Committee was very pleased, as this event was much more Freehold Borough focussed. Kruize night attracts many more people from outside the town. Our committee members had a good chance to chat with many more of our residents, last night, and to field their questions and solicit their suggestions. It was the perfect venue - a perfect night in Freehold Borough for community.
Next year, don't miss the event.

Ah crap, I meant to go but forgot. I even had it on the site calendar as a reminder.
