There is an article in the Transcript about the school administrator from Freehold Borough and the school administrator from Manalapan-Englishtown. It details at great length the salary figures for the gentleman from Manalapan-Englishtown, both current salary and the golden parachute he is receiving upon retirement, including a 4 percent raise as he leaves.
Oddly enough, this article does not mention anything about the Freehold administrator's salary or package or raise as she leaves. It is my understanding that they have renewed her contract and she, too, is getting a 4 percent raise as she goes out the door.
Why was this conspicuously left out of the article? More importantly, are any taxpayers paying attention? Didn't we just have cutbacks last year, and the budget didn't pass this year? Hello?

Concernedperson...I have not yet read the article that you mention, and I will make sure to do so today...however, the district has posted, on it's website, a link that details both our Superintendent's and Business Administrator's contracts...here is a link... www.freeholdboro.k12.nj.us/District_Resources/Dist_Resources_Data.htmThis information was posted on the website (though it was always available to anyone who asked) in an effort to take another step towards transparency in our district. If you remember, we did the same with this last budget when we were trying to get it approved.

Because this is a school topic, I am moving it to the schools board on this site.
