Last night the wife and I decided to take a stroll through the national night out event. We got there early and it appears that people were coming out in droves.
The police and other groups who sponsored the event did a great job. it was an event geared toward the kids and judging by the mood of the crowd and the kids, everyone was having a good time.
On a side note, while I was there I saw Senator Karcher with her "bunnies". I pointed her out to my wife. In my wife's typical north Jersey Italian fashion, she starts yelling " that is the idiot who wants us to have a bake sale to save our schools?! " Except my wife being a north jersey Italian was not so polite.
Anyway, By the time we were done eating at the Japanese restaurant, the event was hopping.
