FREEHOLD: Volunteers in Public Service is looking for volunteers to help in their Home Friends Program, designed to provide one-on-one friendships with homebound elderly and disabled residents in Monmouth County. Volunteers pay periodic visits to the homebound, usually on a weekly basis. The visits and telephone calls help relieve the loneliness of someone who lives alone. Call (732) 845-2071.
