Found in APP www.app.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20071008/OPINION/710080314/1032Panel beyond Freehold mayor Gov. Corzine is appointing a blue-ribbon commission to investigate the rights of immigrants residing in New Jersey. Which immigrants: legal or illegal? The need for this commission should be defined before establishing it. The 10,000 legal residents of Freehold should know their mayor, Michael Wilson, is seeking an appointment to this commission. I feel that the voters should weigh the destiny of their municipality. With all the problems created in this little town by the 3,000 to 4,000 illegals occupying the borough, one would think the mayor's job would be overwhelming without taking on additional responsibilities. He should be solving local problems created by illegals. The mayor is running unopposed for re-election. Why? The opposition has voted with their feet by moving from the borough. It is easier to leave town than find someone willing to lead. W.J. Eugene Kelsey FREEHOLD

Kelsey...that sounds like one of those "old guard" names here in Freehold...could it be that the Mayor has finally started to upset some of his normally solid base?
