It was a rather assinine letter, and anyone that reads it will figure that out directly.
The most amazing thing about the letter was that the News Transcript published it. There has got to be better contrary views out there than this one. (again, though, people are harping on number 15 and failing to see the rest of the picture - even the NT does so by re-publishing letters whose primary emphasis is #15)

I love the letter from the landlord. How would those ideas have applied to the illegal restaurant that was owned by a Wall TWP cop?
If an officer of the law can not be trusted to do the right thing, why should the town and more importantly the neighbors, suddenly think that so little proactive oversight would be a good idea.
When that landlord finishes smoking that weird stuff, I hope he shares so the rest of us can look at the issues with such a naive eye.

Mr. Surgent's letter was excellent. FF could not get 100 votes in Freehold -- even in a democrat primary.

Jeffrey Surgent is a really nice guy, and that was a remarkable letter. I especially loved his reference to "The Who," at the end. The whole thing was tied to a common thread and it worked very well.
Joan Stein's letter was really good as well, albeit a bit scatterbrained.
The landlord from FT. You were a non-citizen? Well, did you have a visa or were you an illegal immigrant? There's a difference between that too. If you were illegal--well then, there ya go!
