We will have a full slate of activities at the NJ League of Municipalities in Atlantic City.
ALL WEEK: Exhibit booth number 1504 in the Exhibit Hall.
TUESDAY at 3:45: “Downtown Development in Tight Economic Times”.
WEDNESDAY at NOON: Annual Meeting at Convention Hall Room 308. All members are invited. Election of the Board and Officers.
WEDNESDAY at 5 - 7 PM: The Annual DNJ Train Reception at the NJ Transit Train Station adjacent to Convention Hall. "Ride" our Vintage Cars to Successful Downtown Networking.
DETAILS:
We start on Tuesday at 3:45 (check the Conference Schedule for the room assignment) with a DNJ sponsored seminar -- Redevelopment in Tight Economic Times. Two Mayor's will jointly host the session -- Mayor Jose Torres of Paterson and Mayor John Thoms of New Providence. Major presentations will be made by Jim Sheldon of the Washington Business Improvement District; Steve Dragos of the Greater Camden Partnership and Michael Fabrizio on the Epstein Plan in Morristown.
The Annual Board and Election meeting for DNJ will take place Wednesday at noon in the Convention Center. All attending members of DNJ are invited.
Ray Mikel, Paul Mulligan and their committee are hard at work on the Wednesday evening “Train Reception” at the Convention Hall Station! It will begin immediately after the final League session of the day ends. Music, refreshments, great people. Sponsorship opportunities are still available
Lastly, DNJ will be one of the consultant tables for the League on Thursday.
Awards Nominations Sought
The Annual DNJ Awards Competetion opened on November 10th. Deadline is January 7 2008. This is a sought after award and we encourage everyone to consider applying.

DNJ Directory to Debut
DNJ has partnered with Laurinda Publications, the publishers of a number of County Magazines around the state to produce the annual DNJ Directory. The directory will debut on November 13th at the New Jersey State League of Municipalities Convention in Atlantic City.

Gilgore to Coordinate Membership Efforts
Dave Gilgore is returning to DNJ this November to be part of our membership development team. Dave was part of the DNJ team in the 90's and we're pleased to welcome him back.
