Great letter Steve...more importantly, how come any of this is happening when the proposed budget shows a 1.3 million dollar surplus? Seems that this is a hasty move and just the town taking advantage of the state's current economic situation to fire people...Another note, the mayors letter is filled with ridiculous and inaccurate facts. #1. try talking to those working under the county system and not the one's that implemented it..duh. #2. the prisoners cannot be monitored off site,it is illegal in NJ..must have really been an extensive fact finding mission by town officials.
