Thanks for your answer. I definitely agree with you on a lot of the points you mention. Definitely don't take it the wrong way if I inferred that you were a racist or bigot. I was just basing it on what I had read from you before. I think it's great that you worked with the Hyacincth Foundation (great one) and World Vision. I also think it's great that you've stayed with your job for 23 years--something many people cannot say. That must be an exciting job.
As for your home sale, then it may just have everything to do with the economy. People all over are not having any luck with homes in general. And I wouldn't doubt if it's also the realtor. We've heard from many people that many realtors don't exactly do a wonderful job trying to talk nice about the Boro.
That is great about your daughter! She sounds very motivated. Congratulations.
Bobbi, I think you have some great thoughts and I agree with almost everything you said. You're right that people don't respect their environments, and the town, and they basically trash it. The only thing I would say, and you did a great job of it here, is to channel your frustration better. Sometimes you can have a good message but can be presenting it the wrong way. Don't get me wrong--I'm not saying that you should be happy with all of that going on, but at the same time, just use a bit more tact when complaining about it. It will get more people to listen, I think. Because if you're doing all this great stuff and have a good message (I'm not doubting these by the way, I'm stating that you do), something is not right if your image, according to lots of other people, doesn't reflect that. Thoughts?
