Child safety seats to be inspected
FREEHOLD — The Monmouth County Sheriff's Office will offer its C.A.R.G.O. child seat safety program from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the county garage, Kozloski Road and Center Street.
Specially trained Sheriff's Officers will check the make, model and manufacturer's number of the child safety seat for possible recall; inspect car seat anchors and stabilize seats with additional padding to prevent rocking, according to a news release.
