I have seen a couple of those sites, but a couple were new to me. You are right, there is some terrible bashing going on. And you are right, some of us should monitor those sites and try to help our town's image a bit more.
As per what Marc, said, the Community Relations Committee had better understand just how powerful and relevant the INTERNET is today. That should not go unrecognized.

The proper place for a donation would be either the Borough library, or the archives of the Monmouth County Historical Association (who have an extensive Freehold collection). It's clear as day he was only looking to make a dime and doesn't really give two you know whats about Freehold or anyone on this board, so why stick up for him?
