Compe:
Didn't you tell us you were a fireman? I think the troll just insulted you and the fire department. What a loser. I thought he'd go away after Brian called him a Moron, but I guess Morons just don't get it.

They do have different addresses. Also, calling anyone a moron is not one of my finer moments. You do well here, just keep your head up and do not get baited, as tempting as it may be.

A perplexing word, moron. The American Heritage Dictionary defines "moron" as "a person regarded as very stupid," and "idiot" as "a foolish or stupid person." By this definition, a moron could actually be smart but appear as an idiot, the latter is one unfortunately lacking in normal cognitive abilities as could be assessed using such longstanding intelligence testing models as Stanford-Binet. So, kudos to Brian for using the word correctly. An idiot can be tolerated, while a moron, who, through some emotional or behavioral neurological malfunctioning, choosing thereby to act as an idiot, should not be as tolerated. And as Forrest Gump likes to say, "And that's all I got to say about that." ;D ;D ;D

forget what you think is rude.
Discuss if this was an appropriate fine, etc in this case. If you were looking to make an example out of someone, I don't think it was done. The council is clamoring for being able to tag people with higher fines, but only wants it done through the legislature. What difference does that make when this guy (who clearly could have been made an excellent example) was able to significantly plea down his violations. What was it, $200 for running an illegal restaurant? No violation for alcohol sales? a small fine for overcrowding?
I ask you people in your heart of hearts people, was this (the actual result) what you were looking for? or were you looking for something greater?
(p.s. you didn't get what the B.Franklin imposter was getting at)
